This policy covers how DarijaData ("we", "us") handles information from two distinct groups: visitors to this website, and contributors to our Moroccan Darija datasets. These are governed separately.
This site does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts. The only data we receive from a visitor is what you choose to send us by email (e.g. via hello@darijadata.com). We use that solely to respond to your inquiry.
If you contribute a voice or text recording to a DarijaData dataset, your participation is governed by a separate, explicit Contributor Consent & Data Release Form, provided and signed before any recording takes place. That form specifies exactly what is collected, how it is used, and your right to withdraw. This website's policy does not override that form.
Organizations that license our datasets are contractually bound to use the data only for the purposes agreed in their license (e.g. AI model training, evaluation) and are prohibited from attempting to re-identify contributors.
If you are a contributor, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your contribution's metadata at any time before it has been delivered to a licensee, by contacting hello@darijadata.com.
